I recently stayed at a hostel on the beautiful island of Imabari and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for my cycling trip along the Shimanami Kaidō, with easy access to the bridges and a nearby local Onsen for a relaxing soak. The hostel facilities were brand new and super clean, providing a comfortable and inviting environment. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing me with all the information I needed for my trip. The dinner at the hostel was great, offering substantial options that satisfied my hunger after a long day of cycling. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Imabari.

Great location by the bike path, convenient store across the road, and sea views. Neat, comfortable, and surprisingly modern for the price. Tasty café food, and the option to use the space after dinner. The cabins are spacious, clean, and provide all necessary amenities.

I recently stayed at I-Link Hostel & Cafe Shimanami for a few days while biking the Shimanami Kaido. The hostel provided a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for the chilly December weather. The showers were a much-needed relief after a long day of biking. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious and reasonably priced meals, showcasing locally sourced ingredients. There was even a convenient store right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hostel to fellow bikers looking for comfort and a tasty meal.

    I recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a brand new, perfectly located hostel called I-Link. The cafeteria served delicious meals at bargain prices, making it a great option for budget travelers like myself. The staff, especially Nanami, were fantastic and made my stay an absolute pleasure. The hostel is a heaven for cyclists, with amenities provided for bike storage and even the option to bring your bike into your room. Additionally, the convenience of being located on the 3 island made it a great halfway point for my journey. I highly recommend this hostel and would definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at a hostel that was even better than many hotels I've been to. The place was new and everything was super clean and modern. The staff was incredibly kind and even gave me a free upgrade. The bathroom and toilets were spacious and sparkling clean. The meals at the restaurant were delicious and worth every yen. The location was perfect for my cycling trip on the Shimanami Kaido. I highly recommend this hostel.

That there weren't many dining options around the hostel, but there was a supermarket across the road. Additionally, it would have been nice to have breakfast served at the restaurant, but the nearby FamilyMart served as a convenient alternative.

We had a fantastic experience at this hostel. the location was great, with a Family Mart right across the road and a local shop nearby for all our needs. the single room we stayed in was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. the facilities were super clean and we had no complaints. the cafe at the hostel served delicious food, especially the Katsu which was worth every penny.

    Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. 😊.

If you're planning to bike the Shimanami Kaido, this hostel is a perfect choice. It's conveniently located around the 40km mark, making it an ideal spot to split your ride into two days. The facilities are nice, and there's even a convenience store across the street for cheap late-night snacks. As a cyclist, you'll love that you can bring your bike right into your room or park it in the dedicated space. The amenities provided are excellent, and the food at the hostel is delicious. Highly recommended!

    Would recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the hostel! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to return an item I left behind. The facilities were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. The convenient location near an Onsen was perfect for relaxation after a long bike ride along the Shimanami route. I highly recommend this hostel as a traveler's retreat.

One minor drawback was that the private room only had a curtain as a door, so there wasn't complete privacy. Additionally, there wasn't much of a common area for socializing with other guests.

I got great value for my money at this hostel. The room was comfortable and spacious, and I had everything I needed for a good night's sleep. The location was perfect for cyclists like me, with free bike tools and security provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food they served was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the locally sourced meals and the homemade limoncello and sake. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hostel.

The breakfast offerings could have been better. When I arrived for breakfast, it seemed like the other group had already eaten everything, so there was only scraps and leftovers left for me.
